Terms of Service
Last updated: October 16, 2026. Plain-language summary of our operating rules.
1. The Operator & Merchant of Record
Tintly is operated by Sagar Gupta, an individual based in India (“we”, “us”, or “our”). You can reach us directly at support@tintly.app.
Payments, billing, and order handling are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as our Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments handles applicable taxes, invoicing, and payment processing for all Tintly subscriptions.
2. The Service
Tintly is a subscription software-as-a-service application that functions as an AI creative director. It analyzes brand and market context to generate marketing strategy proposals, written copy, and visual post designs for solo founders and builders.
3. Account & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and subscribe to Tintly. You agree to provide accurate registration details and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities occurring under your account.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Tintly offers subscription plans billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing interval unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
- Cancellation: You may cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current prepaid billing cycle; you retain access until then.
- Price adjustments: Any prospective price adjustments will be communicated with at least 14 days' notice before taking effect on your next renewal.
- Refunds: All payments are non-refundable. Please review our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Tintly to create, post, or distribute:
- Deceptive, fraudulent, counterfeit, or misleading claims or engagement schemes;
- Unsolicited bulk communications, spam, or harassment;
- Impersonation of any person, entity, or brand without legal authorization;
- Content that violates applicable local or international laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
Violations of acceptable use may result in immediate suspension or termination of access without refund.
6. Content Ownership & Rights
You own your content: You retain all ownership rights to the input data, brand materials, product descriptions, and final approved creative works you produce using Tintly.
You grant Tintly a limited, non-exclusive license to process your materials solely to deliver, maintain, and improve your creative outputs within your personal workspace.
7. AI Output & Human Approval
Tintly is designed around human review. AI models can occasionally produce errors or imperfect drafts. You agree that you are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying accuracy, and approving all content before distributing or publishing it to any public platform. Tintly never publishes to third-party networks without your direct approval.
8. Third-Party Platforms
If you choose to connect third-party platforms (such as X or LinkedIn) on eligible plans, you agree to comply with their respective terms of service and developer policies. We are not responsible for actions taken by third-party platforms, including rate limits, API suspensions, or policy enforcements.
9. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tintly and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to Tintly in the twelve (12) months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
10. Termination
You can stop using Tintly and cancel your subscription at any time (see the Refund & Cancellation Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, including the acceptable-use rules in section 5, if a payment fails and is not resolved, or if the law requires it. We will tell you why when we reasonably can.
When your access ends, your right to use Tintly ends, and we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue (content ownership, limitation of liability, governing law) continue after termination.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give at least 14 days' notice, by email to the address on your account or inside the app, before they take effect. If you keep using Tintly after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms; if you do not agree, you can cancel before then. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version.
